hi there! Welcome to the boards! Glad to have you here.

Don't be shy, we have several vendors on our site. We have an area specifically for vendors to post any deals they currently have going or any new products they are getting in.

Other than that you are able to post anywhere in the general forum and off topic discussion boards about your experiences, knowledge and your opinions.

Hope you stick around and when you get a chance read the rules and regulations post and make yourself at home

Hi Ali,

If you could i'd like for you to tell us a little about this item: http://www.socialsmokehookah.com/ite...--HOSEELG.html I'm wondering if you can: use it with most Syrian narghiles, do the tips both come off, does it have a metal coil and just how washable it really is.

Also, i'm suggest you carry the following: rubber stoppers to close off both ends of the stem and smoke inlet holes, rubber stoppers to close of both ends of hoses, funnel bowls, scali mods and super chief bowls. I would be nice if you could carry a high quality hose brush as well.

Some quick answers
1. Should work with most Syrian Hookahs
2. hose ends don't come off
3. it is a metal coil. Because we did not purchase these hoses direct, we are not sure if they are washable and can not confirm it.

On suggestions:
1. Your idea of rubber stoppers to close off both ends of the stems, Can you explain how would this be useful?
2. We don't carry Tangiers Bowls (funnel and super cheif) as we have a full line of high quality clay hookah bowls that we produce: http://www.socialsmoke.com/cat--Clay...claybowls.html
3. Hose brush set, what hose type would you be using this for.

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions

Ali

You'd want to close off both ends of the stem while cleaning to keep the cleaning solution in the narghile for prolonged soaking. It's a great idea. As to brushes most brushes simply can't get past the coils, are too wide to fit into a hose unless both end come off and tend to hang up on the coils. Something like this: http://www.austinhomebrew.com/produc...roducts_id=918
is pretty good except the bristles are often not stiff enough.

Thanks for the warm welcome everytone...

Hajo Flettner, your idea on the stem plugs is an interesting one, I'll make sure to put that on our project list to discuss and work on. The hose brush is also a good idea, but is somewhat hard to implement because so many hoses have different diameter and lengths that it would take a variety of brushes to be able to work with most of the hosed on the market. Also, the long length of most hoses would probably make it a real difficult project. I'll add it to our list and discuss it with our engineers and designers to see if we can't figure something out... Thanks for the suggestions.

Lake, how have you been?

Nice to see you here Ali. Lake as good things to say about you and your company so I look forward too seeing you around here. Basically the hose brush like the one I gave a link to is used by home brewers for cleaning siphon tubing and the like. They typically run 60'-70' some inches but for our purposes it would be better if they there 90" long. The bristles should be a little stiffer but they work in nammor style hose perfectly well. I also use mine to clean the stem and it's great for that purpose.

Slightly off-topic, but Hajo what about something like this: http://www.cpapusa.com/item.php?productcode=cpapdryer%20(3%20lengths)&nam e=CPAPDryer+Tube+Cleaner

It's used to clean CPAP hoses, it would need a thinner weight (check the fishing section) and perhaps cutting the fabric edges down alittle, but it should work. And it coming in a length to work on 10 foot hoses.

((edit for correct URL link))

Good here.

Thought of you guys Christmas eve.....

... I was in the Hulen Mall and walked into Earth Bound Trading Co. They had a nice display of your hookahs and stuff in there. Scored another bowl.... then saw they had your new tongs after I checked out. Doh... theres always next time.

Saw the tobacco wasnt getting much exposure...... was behind the checkout and damn near out of sight. You should call and bitch about it, lol. Guess thats the PC world for ya.

They put that tobacco back their to minimize the risk of an underage smoker getting their hands on it. Considering how family friendly/children oriented they are, we're not complaining as long as they stock it.
