Default Few questions

I would like to say hi all hookah pro's from Croatia.

I'm a new hookah fan and I would like if you could help me with few of my problems.

1) Buying shisha with Paypal. There are some sellers that declare their shisha to be herbal shisha (no tobacco) but as far as I know, Nakhla (one of their selling products) contains tobacco. My problem is that I don't have a credit card (yes, I'm over 18) but a debit card (Visa Electron and Paypal) and buying shisha on-line is very difficult.

2) Has anyone tried Habibi from Mac Barren? That is the only available shisha in a radius of 200 km
When I bought my first hookah (an Ager) I received a 40gr Nakhla Apple shisha and it is perfect and now I'm forced to switch to Habibi (read some reviews on the net but they don't sound promising)

3) In the lack of good shisha I would like to try to produce some of my own shisha but alas there is no molasses available. Is is possible to use unrefined (pure), thick honey? What ratios of fruit:tobacco:honey:glycerin would you recommend?

Thanks in advance.
p.s. Sorry for the bad english

4) The stem of my Ager is made out of copper (or brass). Is is safe to use a hookah with a copper (brass) stem? The bowl is ceramic.

Nakhla is tobacco. If you want an herbal shisha there is a company called Hydro which you can get through EBAYgirl she is on this forum as well as on ebay and you can use paypal. A lot of people here have tried hydro, and i believe there are a few video reviews as well as typed reviews on it.

Also, for the copper stem or brass stem. It is perfectly fine to smoke out of these. In fact to my understanding Brass is the preferred metal to have.

I understand that Nakhla contains tobacco. I would like to buy Nakhla but if it is advertised as Herbal would I eventually run into problems with Paypal?

I dont know if you would run into issues with paypal. If it is advertised as Nakhla herbal, i have never seen or heard of it. I think they are advertising it as that cause they cant sell tobacco on ebay.

I dont think i would purchase it on ebay.

Possible fake and Nakhla is pretty easy to come by depending on where you live, and probably cheaper.

If only that was true
There is no higher demand on the market so the only option is Mac Barren Habibi.

You've heard it right.
But it would be much more beautiful if there was some good shisha available

well if you still live in Croatia, go look around the shops and im pretty sure you will find some shisha ... when i was in Bosnia this summer, i went to a hookah cafe and next to it was a shop that sells shisha, later on i went to the capital, Sarajevo, and saw a shop that sells shisha.. on my way back to Canada, i went to Zagreb and saw a shop that sells shisha, close to the bus station... so before buying online, check around your city

if only that was true. Sarajevo is the capital of Bosnia and Hercegovina and Zagreb is the capital of Croatia so it is normal for such large cities to have a variety of stores. But in my parts there are no such stores.

great idea but the problem is that the owner of the cafe would overprice the shisha

sellers do this because its illegal to sell tobacco on ebay,
by stating its herbal but we no its not, that lets them sell it without being removed.

I think buying from a lounge might be your best bet. Overpriced, good moassel is better than reasonably priced crappy moassel. It's all relative. Nakhla in the US is really overpriced compared to some other places too.

The problem is that there are no lounges near me.
It's like driving from Washington to Baltimore to get ripped of by some lounge owner.

I actually do make a trip similar to that to buy my shisha. I dunno, I still think that getting something decent like Nakhla with a jacked up price is better than getting something admittedly crappy just cause it's cheaper.

I'm from Split and the ONLY shihsa that you can get your hands on in Mac Baren-s Habibi (middle quality).

You can get shisha (Nakhla, Al Fakher) i Bosnia (Sarajevo) and Zagreb but that would be a long trip (350-400 km).

And your history is a bit wrong. Technically speaking, only a part of Croatia was under the Turkish empire. But I'm impressed with your knowledge of European history. Where are you from?
