Default Removing Glued Tips(Razan Maxura)

I bought a Razan Maxura a while back and the tip of the hose has since broken. The Maxura had glued mouthpieces so I have been trying to think of ways to remove the broken tip but still keep the acrylic intact so I can take some measurements to make my own glass tip. I was thinking about either submerging just the tip in boiling water to loosen the adhesive or pushing back the pom-pom and trying to get an exacto knife/razor blade inbetween the acrylic and the handle. Has anyone here had one of these glued hoses and had experience removing the affixed mouthpieces?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

i have taken a blade to the 4 sides, be very careful and once most of the glue was pushed back or separated, held the handle in my hand and twisted it off with pliers.

I think the hot water idea is a good one. I would avoid actually boiling but hot water has proven to loosen the glue in washable hoses pretty easily.

I'd use a heat gun, if you have one to help isolate the areas you want heated, and not melt other parts of the hose.. Then continue as you have planned, slicing the softened glue with a razor blade and twisting and working the tip off.
