Default Social Smoke Tobacco...

Got an e-mail today from Social smoke saying they have their own tobacco now. A local shop in dallas has some that I saw a few weeks ago. Looks like a starbuzz tin and starbuzz cut. Plus I know starbuzz makes a social smoke flavor. But They have some flavors that starbuzz doesn't have. It is also a dollar cheaper on their site.

Has anyone else heard anything else about this or tried it?

Yes I got the vendor list of flavors and the descriptions of the flavors and they are taking a bold approach to making new tobacco. They have flavor combos that I'm sure most of you will find intriguing.

If the cut is the same, and the container it sounds like they're just repackaging SB.. And maybe just mixing some of those flavors to come out with "new" flavors...

It's actually all made in America. They are directly targeting Starbuzz, just domestically made.. their blue mist version kinda tasted like grass clippings.

I'de be suprised if it was made in the US. Most of these ''domestic'' brands are made in Jordan and repackaged for US companies. That includes Starbuzz.

Exactly, which is why they went down the same profitable road.. but decided to skip the Jordan repackaging ala tonic, starbuzz, fusion, 360, cuzzins, etc.

All in all, ill stick to my nakhla or tangiers.

Just what we need, more overwashed, overpriced, bland moassel in the same rehashed kool-aid flavors we've seen a million times already.

The flavor wasn't so much bland.. you could definitely see a difference in the amount of glycerin used.. it just.. had this aftertaste of fresh cut grass. It's really weird. On inhale it's not bad, but exhale.. lawn mower, vroom vroom.

Then again I like the smell of fresh cut grass and gasoline, i'm weird like that.

All in all I wish they skipped the silver tin and brought down product cost 30%.

I just wish somebody would do something different. They all just keep re-hashing and mixing the same dozen or so fruit flavors. Market's saturated with that crap.

Gee, a boiled, washed and candy like product with artificial flavours for over 15 bucks a tin! I can hardly wait! No body else makes anything like it. Where is my credit card?

I've tried about twenty of their flavors and absolutely love it. It is definitely not Starbuzz rebranded. It has a cross between a Fumari and a Starbuzz cut. Some flavors are incredible, so not so much, just like starbuzz.

According to Abrahim of Social Smoke the tobacco is manufactured at their headquarters in Arlington, Texas. I also know after the lengthy discussion that it is not repackaged tobacco...I am looking forward to trying the product.

Heads up everyone .. this is not repackaged Starbuzz or anything else. This is made by Social Smoke. Their tobacco is made from scratch at their warehouse location in Arlington, TX. They process 100% dry leaf into the final product which contains no artificial colors or preservatives. That is exciting!

I think maybe you guys might be judging before trying? The can may look similar but the product is original.

I actually ordered a couple of flavors so I can try for myself. You know I will give an honest opinion.

I ordered:
Chai Tea
Lime
Double Apple
Cinnamon/Mint
Apricot
Plum
Strawberry (the search for a good strawberry continues)
Coconut
Kiwi
Gum Ball
Simply Apple

Don't knock it before you at least try it. We aren't snobs here are we!?
