Default Coconaras or Cocobricos??

I am running low on my 84 piece box of coconaras so I need to get some more coals soon. I order from Shishabuzz because I am based in the UK (and they are a great vendor). They sell coconaras and Cocobricos, which are very cheap in comparison.

So what do the good people of HP think? I have never tried cocobricos before so not sure on their performance. I am happy with coconaras but they are a bit pricey. Should I stock up on more coconaras or go for the cheaper option of the cocobricos?

Thanks!

Why don't you order a box of both? That way, if you hate them, you have a back up box of coconaras. If you love them, then you have a box on coconaras on standby just in case. It will make future orders much easier.

At least that's what I do when I want to try out new coals.

I haven't had Coconaras, but I bought a box of Cocobricos back from Germany when I was there. The problem I have with Cocobricos is that they take a long time to light and if you place them on the bowl before they're 100% lit, the side touching the foil will stop glowing and get cold. I've been using a gas stove to light mine, so it's been a pain, but if you have an electric coil burner you should be fine.
They produce no odor when lighting them, but I have gotten some coal-like flavor before like 3/4 of the way through the session. I don't know if that was just my box of coals because everybody else thinks they're good coals.
However, seeing that they're extremely cheap, they're more than worth the money you pay for them. They're very decent coals!

Tried both and i have to say i prefer cocobricos, they last for the whole session without needing to change coals, they are the exact same coal as coconara's but twice the size, if you have a good method of lighting them defo get the bricos

I think I will give the Cocobricos a try. I use a gas stove to light coals as we don't have coil burners in the UK. Lighting coconara's take around 10 minutes on the gas stove. How long does it take to light cocobricos? Patelbb you should do a video review of the cocobricos! lol

I could order CH coals from ********** but the costs of shipping makes it way too expensive. I hope some UK vendors will carry them soon! I have a friend going to the US later in the year so I think I will get him to order them from there and bring them back for me

What i do to light them is lett them light up on the gas for about 10 minz while i am setting up my hookah i flip them after 5 i then put thrm in a sausepan and use a fan to make them glow orange and a small flame comes from the coal u will save a hell of alot of time in lighting time

i stopped using coconaras as im in the UK and use cocobricos now. Ive gone through loads of boxes and i love them. i dont see any real difference between them, well not anything important considering how much cheaper they are!! I usually cut them im half as it makes them easier to light. You can leave them whole aswell, lighting them takes a lil longer. I would really recommend them give them a try and u wont go back to coconaras. btw i dont get any taste from them either

Cocobricos are just alright, but for about a dollar more you can get the same amount of Coconaras now, which are much better quality IMO.

I live in the USA and I own 2 kilos of the cocobrico's and suggest them over most other coals since you live there for the price they are wonderful, do not waste your time with coconaras as of now it isnt worth the time or money, I have to order mine 1 kilo at a time or it costs a lot of money until I figure a way to get more then 2 kilos shipped to me. I guess they cannoy ship over 1 kilo of coals or something of that nature, if this is not true please PM me and let me know. I am willing to order more.

Cocobricos win, simply due to them being so cheap and outlasting cocnaras.

On a standard egyptian all you need is 2 bricos and your set for the whole session.
