Default Desi Murli and mold

I know there was a member whom stated his DM grew mold after a period of time and I dont dispute that. But I did want to reassure you guys that I had a tub of DM get pushed to the back of the cabinet for a little over a year and a half and there was no mold present at all. It is not necessary to refrigerate this stuff unless you want to. I dunno know about you guys, but this stuff doesnt last long enough around my house to even think of growing anything in it LOL. Any questions about this tobacco, feel free to ask, I been smoking it for a couple of years now.

Good to know.

I'd like to see more reviews of some of the flavors... I have Khus, Spicy apple, Pudina, and Pan Rasna. I'd like to know what some of the other flavors are like.

I really like Khus and Pan Rasna. Spicy apple is pretty good, but I can't coax any flavor at all out of the pudina.... smokes fine, but the flavor is really dull.

Who would allow such a travesty to let some poor helpless DM container be banished to the rear of the stash? Blasphemy!

yeah I'm with you I never have tobacco around long enough to grow mold. I have never tried Dm before but can't wait to try some. And I'm also super excited to watch you try all the flavors in just 2 months.

Good to know, I have 3 kilos of DM on the way and it might take me quite a while to smoke all of it

Coyotero that's funny, that was my exact initial order, second order was strawberry milkshake, raspberry, regular pan and kewra.

I'm not exactly sure what a pudina should be, it is a milder flavor, but it definitely tastes minty with something else in the background.

I had a bag of it that I had at my parents house I forgot from X-mas. Had a bit of mod in part of it. I cleaned it out and smoked it. Think this was ok? I don't see an issue with it.

Pudina is Hindi for mint. It smells minty, I'm just having trouble coaxing flavor out of it for some reason.

How is the raspberry? I'm curious.

It's definitely not your regular candy raspberry or fruit (per se) flavor. I've had some raspberry filled spice cookies once at a lounge in an arabic community here in ny (not sure what they're called), anyways that's probably the closest I can compare it to, like a tart raspberry with spices and chewing tobacco. The raspberry is more of an aftertaste rather than in your face on the inhale, but still very pleasant.

Its fine, thats how you do it with cigars, wipe off the mold and smoke it! BTW, how was it stored? Plastic tub, baggies? Warm place, direct sunlight?

It's fantastic, definitely a subtle flavor though.

It was in a small gladware container on a shelf in my bedroom. Not in direct sunlight, room temp, away from any heat vents. This stuff isn't an all the time smoke for me so whatever I have so a little bit lasts me awhile.
