Default Restricting Air Flow

Similar to other members' findings, a more restricted hose draw will result in better flavor. I was wondering if you guys know any hose tip attachments for the Nammor/Razan/Narbish that will restrict the draw a little bit for better flavor. I'd like to do this because I like the looks of my Narbish and Nammor hose so I don't really want to get a smaller gauge hose. Thanks guys

Finger or lip, free, finger looks dumb but oh well, lip is concealable. But I want to buy something to tighten the draw too!

I got a KM "AS" hose with my KM and I have to say for the first time that the draw is too wide open. The hose has a massive gauge and you barely get flavor compared to even a Nammor hose

Interesting... something like a shotgun choke to install in the hose so you can select the gauge?

Mine is a KM, there are some mouth pieces. The draw is wide open, which would be fine for the hose as long as there is a way to get the gauge to shrink at the point where you inhale from.

I just use my upper lip to half-cover the opening in the hose... Always done it that way.

That's basically what I do. I've also used the little red thing from the end of the "filters" that hookah-shisha sells.

Check post #8 in this thread..

The picture shows it attached to a Narbish. It also fits my KM leather wrapped and the Nammor.

Just use a mouthpiece its as easy as that!

It's a considerable difference but I do like both ways of smoking as either restricted or unrestricted depending on my mood

That would restrict the airflow at the wrong end. You want to compress the steam as close to your palate as possible.

It's not the restricted airflow that increases the flavor, it's the high density of the steam being forced through a small space.

Yes, I've covered the tip with my lip or can cover with a piece of tape but if I'm spending all this money on a nice hookah I want it to be aesthetically pleasing. I was asking about mouth tips to see if anyone has found any good ones worth buying that would restrict airflow.

If you get a tip (HJ has the 100 pack) how long do they last for? Can you reuse them?
