I've always been curious about Romman tobacco. But, the thing that makes me not buy it is the fact that it is pretty pricey and I may end up not liking it.

In all honesty, if you like Starbuzz then stick to it. I've tried two different flavors from Romman, and neither impressed me. One was ok, and the other pissed me off entirely and forced me to throw it away and repack with Starbuzz. I honestly haven't found a shisha brand yet that even comes close to comparing itself with Starbuzz. Not even Al Fakher. So I just stick to Starbuzz and smoke it religously, and it's worked out pretty good so far...

Romman uses honey over glycerine (I believe) so the taste it slightly different. The flavors are somewhat weaker, but you can get a slightly better buzz (smoke seems mostly the same). Plus the cost is the same. If you really want to try it, try the 50g packs. Their strawberry, lemon and peach are ok, but there are better (IMO) versions out there.

I didn't see where she mentioned Starbuzz. She mentioned Romman being "pricey". If she thinks Romman is pricey then with Starbuzz costing exactly the same, wouldn't she find Starbuzz pricey too? I guess it could have been worse, you could be recommending Fumari! LOL

Romman is great stuff IMHO, I really like a LOT of their flavors. $19 doesnt sound so bad for great tobacco when you compare it to $9 or $10 for AF and you are really taking your chances wether you get a good batch or a bad batch.

You're absolutely right, she didn't mention anything about Starbuzz in this post. But, I remember her posting great reviews of Starbuzz in the review section as well as in this section, so that's why I mentioned to stick to Starbuzz since I know she likes it ...

Oh yeah for sure. Specially since shisha brands are a preference thing more than anything...
