Default Sahara Autoseal adapter

So, I just recently got a medium Sahara Candy Striped hookah that came with two hoses. Well, one of the adapters is autoseal. During like the first 3rd of the session it will work no problems, then the bearing will start getting really stuck where i have to remove the adapter mid-session and move it/blow through it. Anyway to stop this? I have tried cleaning it with a paint brush and water.

Is the ball bearing rusted by any chance?

It's not totally silver, has almost a copper look s to it somewhat, but doesn't look like rust. It's pretty new as well, just got the hookah Friday.

Was it totally silver when you first bought it? Is it smooth or rough?

What I've heard other members do on here is just use plastic BB-Gun pellets. They're lighter and therefore don't clog the valve requiring you to blow into it as hard. Just make sure you get the right size of BB pellets!

I use the bb pellets, they are really cheap and you can find them at specialty sporting good stores. Work like a charm.

It looks just as it did when I got it, with the coppery look. Looks smooth. I wish I could just remove the ball, but it's put together that the bearing stays with the adapter. I'm probly just gonna buy a regular adapter to replace it with. I don't mind plugging the hole when i smoke, It's just with my groups they like to forget sometimes which gets annoying to remind them to block the hose.

Oh, man! My bad, I thought you were talking about the valve at first, I misunderstood, I didn't realize you were talking about the hose valve. Hmmm... quite honestly, I don't know what to do. I've never smoked out of a 2 hose hookah with that autoseal thingy. Maybe send Sahara Smoke and e-mail and ask them what the dealy-o is?
