Default story time: broken bowls...

so i ordered the discounted 3 hose egyptian "legend" off of www.saharasmoke.com

i knew what i was getting into considering it was discounted to $55, but it was guaranteed to be funtional so i went ahead with it. it came in and all was well, but the 2 egyptian clay bowls it came with were TERRIBLE. they were all deformed and 1 of them had a huge chip in the bottom where it connects to the stem.

so i go to put on the better of the two bowls and it shatters as i slide it onto the stem... okay, i have another one so whatever. i GRAB the second one by the bottom using no pressure and it crumbles in my hand lol....

and to make things worse, i went to throw it over my friends fence cuz i was pretty pissed off and i cut my wrist on the fence as i threw it lol, nothin deep though

needless to say i was not the least bit happy that i cant use my new hookah till i get a new bowl, but i guess i got what i paid for right?

....and that was my saturday night lol

You're a world class clutz! LOL That sucks about the bowls. My Egyptian clay bowl is as solid as when I got it and I've dropped it a dozen time.

Sadly enough, saving a few dollars on a hookah sometimes isn't worth it. Better to go big and spend the extra money.
But yeah dude, thats all shitty right there.

My standard E bowl is very durable as well. It survived numerous drops from 1m + and still rocks

Live and learn right? lol
My phunnel bowl has really stood a test of time, I've dropped it a few times in the shop while attemping to make a mod for it on the lathe. And bounced it on the train when it fell out of my backpack. Bought my phunnel from J&R btw, maybe add that tyo your purchase when you buy you next rig from J&R.

I just recently lost a bowl as well lol. We were smoking at my friends house with the hookah on the table (I know I know). So my friend with the hose in hand turned to reach over for something to far and to quickly which caused the phunnel bowl to fly off. Flew a good 2-3 feet and shattered lol. So had to stick with an Egyptian bowl for a while

yea my brother knocked over my hookah once, there were coals and tobacco everywhere. Chipped the hell out of my phunnel too, but it still works. I bought a new one anyway.

Hhe your not alone on breaking bowls! One time, I broke two bowls in the same week and one of 'em, I broke it the same day I bought it! ahhh it sucked

I've dropped my small phunnel a few times and now it has hairline cracks. Its surprising that its lasted this long

Apple bowls sound yummy. I would definitely go get 10 apples from the grocery store and use them to smoke with.
