Default wind covers for syrian engineers

idk if i am putting my hookah together wrong or if my wind cover is just not tall enough. because when i put the wind cover on with exotica coals they get pushed into the middle of the bowl and the wind cover has to rest on them.

when i set my hookah up i have to put the tray between where the sections screw together. idk how to explain it very well but like the section where the bowl sits on screws to the other section of the stem and that is where i put the tray. i dont think that is right but that was the only place where i could but the tray because the center hole isnt big enough to just slide over the top.

do you kind of understand what i am describing? i will post a picture of what i am trying to say.

My KM is the same way. Check out Sambookas videos, he has one that shows you how to use a coffee can to extend the windcover up away from the coals. Essentially it makes it taller.

with the popularity of KM and funnel bowls, i wish a vendor would step up and meet the demand of a taller wind cover....

i know, i know.

but i want a nice windcover, and the only way i can do that is if i buy one - knowing it won't work - and mod it with a coffee can.

i'd like a nice one that was made tall enough for my hookah

If i had a porche, I wouldn't buy rims made for a honda, and try to fix them to fit my porche... I'd want rims made for my porche!
