I ordered two boxes of AF Esk Apple and one box of AF Apricot on Friday. Saturday, John called me personally to confirm my order. Later he sent me an email with a tracking number.
I get home from work this evening and there is this rather large box at my door. (For once FedEx actually left something at my door! Sonofa****!)

I get the box inside, open it and GREAT GOOGLY-MOOGLY! Lookit all the stuff!


AS you can see, everything arrived in excellent shape.
In addition to my order, here's what I got:

Three (count 'em!) three AF 50g samplers in Pineapple, Strawberry and Lemon <== smokin' that one right now
One 50g sample King Moassel Mint

since chronic hookah is about 10 or so minutes down the street from my house, myself, boomhauer, and persian perversion took a trip down there today. for one, john is one seriously nice guy, and a great conversationalist. secondly, the store is really clean and well organized i felt. he had tons of hookahs, a great selection of shisha, and accessories.

before going i had made a list in my head of what exactly i wanted:

AF cardamom
AF grenadine
Nakhla two apples
AF jasmine
AF golden eskandarani apple

he had all the items plus more. boomhauer picked up AF grape and Tonic orange cream; later on that night we smoked the Tonic - great stuff. but anyways. john was kind enough to give us 3 some AF promotionals (date book, pen, card deck etc) and also some samples. his giving nature amazed me.

overall: friendly, organized, clean, and a well rounded selection. a 10 out of 10.

I called John at 1:30 pm yesterday and ordered a 35" Horas. He was very helpful and very talkative. It really didn't feel like I was talking to a salesperson but rather just another hookah smoker, in other words I wasn't pressured into spending more than I wanted, which was very nice. He price matched the hookah with another site, and shipped everything right after I hung up.

So the NEXT DAY at noon Fedex man drops off a beautiful hookah at my house. 23 hours after I order, I've never had something shipped that fast. It came with tongs, a windcover, screen, pharaoh samples and some stickers. Packaging was great and everything was in mint condition when I opened it.

But what I didn't expect was that he called me to confirm the order. Thats pretty damn awesome in my book. Literally right after I set up the hookah he calls to make sure everything is ok (which it was) and I really appreciated that.

10/10 He'll be getting more than a few orders from me after this. Pictures of the hookah and a review will follow as soon as I find my effing camera.

I ordered from John last night, 6 seperate packages with nomore than 250g of tobacco in each one to beat Aus customs then went to bed. This morning there was an email saying the quoted postage wasn't calculated correctly and I was $18.10 short and asked if I could send it but without even waiting sent out the orders anyway, top rate service and I of course will be happy to send the extra on Monday (hell it still works out cheaper than getting it in Aus even before I add domestic shipping rates which are higher than US international ones lol).
I'll definately be shopping with John again

I just wanted to say this guy is the bomb.....He truly knows the meaning of customer service......I ordered from him on Sunday Night and had the order in my hands by tuesday....

I am truly impressed with all the extra goodies I got too....stickers, day planner, magnets...car shade (my roommate thanks you since I do not drive )......all in all this purchasing experience was wonderful...and I will definitely buy from him again.......perhaps when I get paid again...hahaha....

I ordered assorted Tobacco from John and purposely changed my order and called him and made things difficult for him just to see how he reacted. Well the results are in, this guy has a customer for life! I am a huge Customer Service advocate and think we have gotten away from "The Customer is always right" mentality. John is an exception, I placed an order for assorted tobaccos, called him up to change my order just to see how he handles business. Still received my order extremely fast and in perfect condition. I will be placing regular orders with him from here on out based on my experience with him. Great Job John!

I ordered my first hookah from john at Chronic Hookah..there was a mix up on the shipping address but I still got the package...I ordered a green Mya QT and some AF 50 g sample packs....i just opened the package and everything was there and in tact he even added an AF windshield cover,AF playing cards and an AF day planner....he was vary nice the customer service was great we talked threw email a lot he responded to my emails quickly...so im going to set up my hookah right now.....thanks alot to john i will deff be ordering from you again......and here are some pics

well my experience with John at chronic hookah is kind of a long one, which was my fault lol.

it started i think tuesday of last week. John caught wind that i was in the market for a new hookah. an MZ to be specific. he messaged me with some links to his selection of MZ's and i really dug them.

i told him i didnt have the money yet but i should by friday they 2nd, so i picked out the vase and stem that i wanted and the shisha i was thinkin of buyin. he pulled them aside and held them for me until i got paid, and gave me his cell phone number so i could place my order with ease when i had the funds. well there were some delays on gettin paid, but he held the hookah and shisha longer for me, which i was EXTREMELY thankful for and extremely impressed with that kind of customer service. when i finally got my money i changed my shisha order at the last second, which again was no problem for John to take care of for me.

i placed my order on Monday May 5th, he got it out the morning of the 6th and it arrived on my doorstep today, the 8th. everything was packed very, very nicely. my hookah is BEAUTIFUL and completely air tight!! John also through in some extras: i got AF playing cards and an AF knife and lighter in a cool little display box.

i am VERY satisfied with my experience with Chronic Hookah and i will absolutely do business with them again. You can just tell that they are thankful for their customers and will fight to please and keep them. Job well done, Chronic Hookah.

I must say, I am more than pleased with my order from ChronicHookah.com! I placed an order for 3 250gram tubs of shisha and a box of japanese coals and recieved 3 50g boxes free. They also threw in a sun visor, lighter and pocket knife, as well as a day planner. I will be ordering from them again. So I ordered the Al Fakher Monster Pack (20 Samplers) and now i have so many flavors I don't even know what to do with my self! He got it to me in three days.

I recieved my order packaged really well, with several samples thrown in to boot! My order was here within 3 days as opposed to the usual 7 days that it seems to take everyone else. His selection of flavors is awesome, and if he doesn't have something he gets right back to you and does everything in his power to help you get a fabulous hookah experience. He answered all kinds of questions for me regarding coals and flavors.......and the Al Fakher Day planner he "threw in" is really great!

I wanted a new Smooth KM hose, i was kind of obsessed with them for awhile. I also needed a small phunnel bowl as well.

John saw my post about the hose, and asked if he should get one for me. I didn't think he would just be able to get his hands on one, but sure enough he did. He sent me one of the hoses that will be coming in with the upcoming KM rigs. This hose has a wooden tip (to the hose-port) and an acrylic mouth tip. They are detachable (they screw off), but it is a tad hard to get them airtight. Apparently they smoke fine even when not air-tight, so I wasn't exactly worrying. John told me I could glue it, or I could leave it as is, but either way he would take it back if I hated it.
Now, where will you find THAT kind of return policy? Nowhere, duh.
I decided to glue the hose and keep it, and it smokes like a billion bucks, and is now my go-to solo hose.

The phunnel on the site was priced at $16.00. We talked it over a tiny bit, and John lowered the price in order for me to be able to buy it.
Once again, Customer Service and dedication like this? Nowhere.

He even included AF playing cards, an AF sun-visor (for the car), and a surprisingly high quality AF day planner.

I sincerely thank you very much for my complicated ordering and receiving process John, and I will be back again in the future.

First off let me just say, chronic is the only website I've ordered from just because I haven't been smoking that long. Now getting to the review. Late Friday night around 9, I ordered some AF mint, orange and coconut and some Nakhla Two apples and vanilla. so around 930 I check my email. John has sent me an email saying that I put two flavors of Nakhla, but only paid for one asking if I wanted just one of them or both. "Which is what I thought I was supposed to do then he would just charge me for two " So anywho. I send him an email back explaining myself. Next morning I get a call from some weird number, It's John from Chronichookah. To ask about the Nakhla mix up. First let me just say, what an easy guy to talk to, it was really nice to have someone not try to sell you anymore stuff or act like a salesmen what so ever. So we get the Nokhla problem figured out, so john shipped it out that day. So john sent me an email with the tracking and all that good stuff. So I check the tracking, and it says its getting here Wednesday. So today Tuesday. My brother comes and gets me about 8:25 AM with a package from john at Chronichookah. Thats one day earlier than it was supposed to get here, which is awesome considering I live in PA and John is in CA. So I open the package, and there is all my stuff I ordered plus, that very nice AF leather day planner, AF deck of cards some stickers a very nice touch. So I go and look at my receipt in the box. And John gave me the one Nokhla that we had some trouble with for free! I mean what more can you ask for in a company? I give John a 12 out of 10. Will buy from again without hesitation, and encourage others to do the same. Thanks John.

I have odered from a couple other sites before i got smart and called john at cronic hookah. Hookah-shisha has screwed up all three orders i have made with them and even when they send me the stuff to correct it they mess that up too, pretty lame company. So i was talking about getting a new hookah and i was told to give John at Cronic Hookah a call. So i finally was ready to buy a new one and called john up and we walked through the order step by step and he made extremely sure i was getting everything i needed and wanted and colors and anything you could think of he had already thought about. Never once did i feel pushed to buy anything. Everything arrived in absolutely perfect condition along with a TON of free AF goodies its was better than christmas! I got a clock that is awesome!, a deck o cards with case, a day planner, and a windsheild sun protector. He gave me a great deal and was wonderful to talk with on the phone. If anyone is thinking of buying anything hookah related you need to talk to john, he won't let you down. I apperciate his customer service so much after dealing with hookah-shisha because they are a joke and john is better than being there in person. I give john a five billion out of ten! Thanks john couldn't have asked for anything better!

Okay, ya'all, I am about to get on my soapbox again to tell you how wonderful it is to order from this man....

Once again I placed an order with John yesterday for a MZ Horas and a few other things, and boy was I surprised to see the huge box on my bed waiting for me when I got home today. Of course, it is great that we are almost neighbors and I got everything so quickly, I guess that is definitely a benefit.

Anyway, my order was well packed, and contained extra goodies, as he always does...I just wonder when he is going to run out of the extra goodies

In addition to getting what I ordered, he also threw in an extra hose, which I absolutely love. Even more so then the one that came with the hookah. He also sent me one of the clocks that everyone is getting, a really nice and matching set of a pen, keychain, lighter, and pocket knife.

I will say it over and over again...this guy is the greatest....and I will definitely order from him again....

Here comes another great review for John at Chronic Hookah . When I saw him post that the AF golden grape was in 50g size, I rushed to order. I figured I should get some other stuff besides that and picked up some other 50g's and a 250 of bahraini apple. I got a call from John saying one of my flavors was out of stock and he would replace it with 2 others! John was even so helpful to give me suggestions! I just got my order now and was amazed that he threw in all the AF goodies. THANKS so much John! I will most definitely be going back to Chronic Hookah. Excellent selection, excellent prices, and excellent customer service.

I can't say enough about my experience with John and Chronic Hookah... Everytime I've dealt with them, it's been HORRIBLE!!! Of course, I'm just kidding. The guy bends over backwards to accomodate customers, and when somebody shows you that your business means so much to them, you just have to come back. I ordered twelve cans of Starbuzz today at a great price, got it shipped out same day, and with a tracking number almost immediately and some goodies to boot! Meanwhile, I've dealt with other vendors who after they run your card, could care less if you ever get whatever it is you ordered. That's not John and Chronic Hookah, and that's why they're head and shoulders above the rest, without question.
