Default Charcoal subs

So tomorrow morning me and some friends are heading to Pismo beach till sunday. I planned on taking my hookah 'cause I've always wanted to smoke on the beach. I have everything I need but charcoal -_- so I was wondering if there were any subs for charcoal that work good. Any help?

You have never had a bonfire... I feel bad for you.....lol.. Just use dry wood and start a campfire.. once the coals get hot they turn really really red and you end up having a bottom bonfire pit of coals.. grap some tongs and scoop them up...they dont last nearly as long as a hookah coal but there are plenty to grap from.. or on your way stop by a tobacco store in some town..chances are they will have some hookah supplies..

I light marbles on fire by placing them in an open flame. They work great. They burn for days. Holy shit.

so...there i was, sitting in my lazboy chair thinking about what i can use as charcoal so i can make this trip fun. then i remembered...i own a pine tree in my backyard! so i went out there and some pieces and heated them up to the point that they would stay hot. when this happened i placed them on the foil over my bowl and inhaled some fantasia watermelon...but it tasted nasty. so i got more wood and i peeled the bark so that it was all like white then did the fire part and suck. put it on the foil, took a deep breath and...it worked! not as good as i get with quicklights but it worked. i cant say i tasted a;ot of flavor cause ive never really taste flavor with my small pipe -_-...but it works and thats kinda all that matters with me.

:-P thats y i dont do brand reviews..that and cause im poorer then the homeless =)

Try to find a hardwood... also remember to never use treated wood. You can hit up a local home depot or lowes... get some hard wood stock, you know the round cylinder stuff. Wrap it up in aluminum foil if you can and place in the bottom edges of the bonfire, should be ready in no time. Good luck!

i have never heard of using marbles until i moved in with c000weee and now that is all we use they work like 1000x better then exotica.

i didnt beleive at first either but after he started the fire and set the marbles on the open flame and they got red hot it hit me that this could attucally work.and it does, we only have to lite 1 set of marbles (3 marble) for the whole night of smoking.
