Default Follow up to the Nakhla Mango problem

I just got back from the exclusive ditributor of Nakhla. According to them alot of Nakhla that is on market is very old and comes into the country via other means. He gave me a free Mango to sample which I will shortly. He pointed out how the box of fresh Nakhla has a moist feel to it when you give it a squeeze. I am going to try it and follow up. I only added Earl Grey and 3 Mizo's to my stock as the other stuff hasn't fully sold yet.

The mango I have Is pretty moist for nahkla so I guess we can assume it's fairly fresh then.

Yup!! That is exactly what I said in the previous post regarding Nakhla Mango. You can tell freshness by squeezing the box.

That is cool that you got a fresh sample to try. Let us all know weather not it smoked well if you enjoyed it! I gotta look into that Mizo, it sounds really good from what I have heard.

When he says moist dont imagine anything like SB or AF. Nakhla will never drip or be seeping in juice. It will always be drier than "american style" brands. you will really understand the difference of moist and dry, tho. Still your hands wont get painted or wet. GRRRRR useless words.... I cant describe it the way am thinking of it LOL

Stupid Nakhla should just put the production dates on their box, maybe they did...but in Arabic. Lol.

but dry Nakhla can be fixed with honey or glycerin.

the new nakhla mango i got has an oily feel to it, rather than the dry we are used to. The earl grey will be this way and I put in an order for some more flavors, fahfakina fruits, sween melon and the whole sherezade line.

Their Sherazade line is awesome. I have Earl Grey and Margarita and both are very good flavors.

That's pretty cool. I try to steer clear of Nakhla as much as I can b/c I hardly get good sessions out of it

one of the things that is great about nakhla is that even the dry tobacco holds it's flavor and burns fairly well.

+1 to abu. Even the driest nakhla will give you an hour of smoke with good clounds and strong flavour.
