Question Natural Coal Question

So i've only used QL coals in m hookah escapades so far. I was wondering about how well a propane torch (bernzomatic) that I have would light naturals. Anybody do that? Or is it just stoves?

a propane torch should work just fine for natural coals.Just be sure, as you would with any coal, that they are thuroughly lit on both sides before smoking.Otherwise you could get sick or have an otherwise unpleasant tasting smoke!Electric stoves work fine for nats. as well, btw. good luck!

you should also get a charcoal holder/pail. This way you can swing it around to get a ton or air in them and get them red hot.

I find a single coil electric burner works the best for lighting nats. Although that torch would work find just be prepared to put that flame all over em for about 5 minutes plus. the coal holder idea makes alot of sense too. It is all about personal preference. If you already have the torch use it, but if you are going to buy something buy the electric burner.

Canned air is great for getting them glowing too, just the stuff you buy to clean electrical gear and keyboards.

it works great, i use a single burner propane coleman stove. I used to use my electric stove in my house, and it would take nearly ten minutes, and my coleman stove gets it done in closer to three. just make sure to rotate your coals so they totally ignite.
