Washing nogoom

Just wondering .. Ever since washing my nogoom washable hose seems to taste different when I smoke ( smoking blue mist gfs fav flavor )

What does it taste like? How did you wash it?

Just washed it with water and spin to dry like my fancy just feels like it isn't pulling like it did and kinda getting not big of clouds

unless hose is cloged its something with the hookah, water level may be to high , not enough holes in tinfoil. holes blocked on a vortex causing a restricted pull ?

hoses just dont stop working

Blue mist used to be great for me but over time (rather over the course of the 250g tin) it wasnt so great.

But here's some thoughts:

Carefully smoke the hookah without a hose straight from the hose port, if there is a significant change in flavor then its your hose.


If its your hose, give it a through clean with lukewarm water, the baking soda and water (while moving the water from one end to the other), regular water, lemon juice, and finally regular water then give it another go (with the hose)

Try another hose to compare?

If its not the hose it may be the hookah, give that a solid clean inside and out.

If its not that...its either poor storage of your tobacco, spoilage, or your palate.

Store my Shisa in cabinet in my apartment top shelf but I do light
U coals under the cabinet sorry to go off topic but will that affect my tabbaco by using my coil burner on the counter below the cabinet where I store my Shisa & gonna try all those test when I smoke tonight ! N report back

It shouldn't make a difference unless you are not using air tight containers then the aroma of burning charcoal may contaminat ur shisha. But you should keep your tobacco where you smoke in a drawer or cabinet, keep it in an air tight container such as zip lock bags, Tupperware, or mason jars. I would suggest lighting your coals in a different room, even if they are natrauls they leave faint camp fire smell. (unlike ql's that smell like chemical accelerant, bad memories indeed)
