Default Lighting coals

As being fairly new to the Hookah world, what is a good way to light coals. They make a mess on my electric stove which has a glass top. Is there some other special something?

If you're using naturals, get yourself a single coil electric burner. You can find them for under $10. Better to get one than have your glass top shatter!

yep yep, the coil burner is awesome, you can get away with a propane/mapp torch but thats a pain, but i do use the torch to relight the dead sides of cocos when i flip them some times

I like to use the side burner on my BBQ, way easier and cleaner than electric.
