I think stuff like that is always a once upon a hookah night story. Like "HEY remember that time a week ago that we got car sized clouds and the strawberry flavor tasted like real strawberries?!"

We don't always get both. We usually have to compromise lol.

unless you're sambooka. his videos usually big clouds, and he says the flavor is good... maybe it's just time to learn the PERFECT method

"hole patterns" = over rated

ive never used a "pattern" just pokes a bunch of holes and smoke away, always works fine for me

but i am assuming your talking about where you have 2/4s of the bowl not pokes, i think scali (as in scali mod guy) did that a lot

When I was just learning about smoking shisha, I always thought that as soon as I tasted burnt tobacco and I coughed, the bowl was done. Learned now that that's not usually the case, taking the coals off and blowing through the pipe will cool it down enough that it's as good as new if not better after a minute without coals.

I must be a pro, i almost never have a sesh where the clouds arent big and milky. Unless its a new hookah, or a friends hookah. As far as my hookahs, i have learned exactly how to pack the bowls, how many holes to poke in the foil. Perfect coal placement, and the perfect amount of water in the base. Along with ice =]]

I always use SB, and pull the leaves apart and i havent had a hard time getting fatty clouds, with great taste. And my stock bowl lasts about 1-1.5 hours every time, b/f any harshness. =]

if it's REALLY bad... you could try scraping off the messed up shisha from the top and re wrapping it and saving the bottom shisha ((early on in the session)). buuuuuut, i think the only way is removing coals, blow it out, and put a little fewer coals on after

usually my shisha is burnt to the bottom, so i have never had to try to save any of it. I dont think it would be too beneficial, b/c i think it gets a little dried out and iono... lol

That's my definition of a good session. When I manage to not burn it long enough to dry out all the shisha, right to the bottom of the bowl.

Sigh, need some decent Shisha, this Afzal is doing my head in, literally! Hookah head to the limits

Yeah, the AFZAL (all I can get locally, doesn't stack up to the Romman I smoked alot of lately) shishas are almost sickly sweet, and give me this burn in my throat. They just aren't a pleasant smoke. Had some AFZAL Rose mixed with the last of my Romman Raspberry, and it was an intresting mix, but man, the headspin laid me out flat on the couch for like 5 minutes. Sort of good, sort of bad

Back to the topic: Shisha recovery, if it's REALLY burnt, then it's done. You just won't get a smooth smoke out of it. If it just went harsh, it's too hot, take the coals off asap or you'll end up with burnt shisha and nothing you can do about it.

yea, i'm thinkin it's not even worth saving once it starts burning... i got too much shisha anyways, kinda need to start using a lot of it, so i'm not gonna complain. couldn't you order online and get some better shisha maybe? i think it'd be worth it if the type you get is making you feel like hell

What is the cause of a coal burning too fast? I don't think I get 15 minutes out of one coal. What would be the reason? Is using a wind cover likely to reduce the swift reduction of a coal?
