Default Starting flavors

Ok so I have a good list going to get me started but I am wanting to try other brands as well. Mainly I want to compile a list of flavors and brands to get 50g samples of for trials to kind of give me an idea of what directions I want to go in with this hobby. Does anyone have any suggestions of 50g sample sizes that I should get to try that I can kind of use as a checklist kind of thing to add to this? I suppose 100g packs would be ok if someone doesn't make 50g sizes but I am watching my cashflow. One thing is I would like to get more AF definitely but any other must try brands out there? I have been reading reviews and what not and getting some ideas but not everything is reviewed and not everything comes in 50g.

What I have so far or have coming is
Nakhla
Double Apple
Strawberry
Banana
Cherry
Cinnamon
lemon
mint
orange
peach
sweet melon
and one more that is either Jasmine or Apricot not sure at the moment.

Al Fakher
Orange
Grape

Saalaam
Spiced Chai

To be honest, just check out the reviews section and you will be able to see what brands and flavors seem to go over well.

That would be awsome. I love Nakhla strawberry. I think my wife doesn't like it because as you say there isn't as much flavor in it. Though so far all we have tried is Nakhla strawberry and nakhla double apple so really who is to say what I love. I just don't like the Anise in the double apple all that much. Not so much that I wouldn't smoke it fairly often cause she loves it but enough that it isn't going to be my favorite anytime soon.

I have wondered about Al-Amir. I have seen it on quite a few sites and it isn't overly expensive. Thanks for the flavor recommendation.

I have read through it. Interesting read but a lot of this sucks because of the buzz or this tastes like medicine. Also when you find a flavor in the reviews and go sweet I want to try that then you find you can't get it in 50g or you can but just not anywhere that you can get anything else useful so you can get it and pay between 6 and 15 dollars shipping for a 2 dollar 50g or not. More than anything I am looking for brands but if there is something exceptional of a brand that doesn't have much else I want to know that too. Though Nakhla and some AF stuff seem to be the easiest to find locally so they are my starting points.

i like nakhla apple

i would get a cola, ive only had alwaha and roman (i got some HH in my mix as the main part and it seemed ok) i liked the al waha best though but ive heard great things of al faker cola

Careful on the Al Amir though, they have 2 flavors that are great and all the rest are literally flavorless. The White Grape and their Apple is the best out there.

Another thing to keep in mind is a lot of brands 50g taste different than their 250g tubs. head over to the trades section and see whats offered up and start trying stuff.

Al Waha if I can find some good 50g packs on the list I have heard good things. Cola flavors kind of scare me a little but I am sure I will try one eventually Groovy thanks and Pipe was probably going to be on the list as well as I come across it. Sweet thanks.

Layalina I will look for on the internet. I hear more and more about it but haven't actually seen it at the places I have been. Romman I heard was good stuff. I will keep my eyes peeled. I think I will get over to ******* Hookah on my next big purchase and load up on one of their buy a load get a load plus free deals on AF. So my Nakhla and AF stashes should be epic. The others will probably be more pick and choose since those appear to only be web purchases for me.

I may have to do that and if something happens and I don't like it for some reason there is always the trade boards right. LOL.

Fezzik, has anyone told you about the Hooka Hookah Shots? You can get a whole bunch of single serving containers of all kinds of different flavors to try, then you can branch off to try the flavors you like with different brands to see if they are any better...

honestly i am not a big fan of HH, its ok tobacco but just has a weird taste to it from the tobacco. i would rather put the money into other brands, dont get my wrong its not bad just not something i would go out of my way to get at all

and hell ya to the trading BM away, heck if you dont like it let me know and ill trade you samples of a bunch of my stuff for it

Yeah to be honest I've never tried it, I have heard about it and just thought it might be a good way to get access to a wide variety of flavors relatively inexpensively. But Mattathayde is right in that you get what you pay for, so it's up to you really....A cheap smorgasbord or flavors or a few quality flavors...what to do what to do
